We Are SiestaKation Charters
It’s about living your dream! SiestaKation is the result of spending many years on the water and creating a business out of what everyone loves to do on it. It all started while Captain Josh was playing on a sandbar one spring break with his family and thinking, “This is why everyone wants to come here; this is the real experience of Siesta Key and Sarasota.” SiestaKation started in 2014 and has been a staple at Siesta Key Marina ever since.

Josh Pritchett

U.S.C.G. 100 Ton Master Captain Josh Pritchett grew up an avid fisherman and hunter. He started diving at 15 and longed to be in the water. Upon finishing his degree in Marine Technology, he became a commercial diver; helping to insure the protection of the Gulf of Mexico by repairing pipelines and oil rigs. Capt. Josh moved to Siesta Key and started his own business in 2011 to share his love for the Gulf with others. Years after owning and operating a scuba diving company, SiestaKation was born
Brendan Smithson

U.S.C.G licensed Capt. Brendan Smithson is a native of Siesta Key and started as a mate with Capt. Josh in 2018. After working for many years as a mate gaining experience and knowledge for catching fish offshore he became a captain. He is one of the most enthusiastic fisherman you’ll ever see when a client hooks a fish. He is a born guide and his local knowledge is beyond comparison to others.

About The Boat
The Boat, is a 2019 Twin Vee 260 Go Fish! It is a very comfortable riding catamaran (center console) powered with twin 150 outboard engines that eats up the Gulf chop like you’re cruising on a lake. She is very spacious for a boat in her class and outfitted with the latest technology to target our fish of choice. Don’t let her length fool you, she rides like a 32’ boat and has high gunnels to keep the kids safe. It is a great platform whether we’re nearshore or inshore fishing.
