Nearshore fishing is a little more adventurous, heading out into the Gulf of Mexico along the coast of Siesta Key and Sarasota. Our targeted species varies through the year as the fish are migrating through. We may troll for king mackerel, pitch spoons to Spanish mackerel, run stone crab traps for tripletail, or sight cast to a surface cruising cobia. We could also bottom fish ledges for mangrove snapper, lane snapper, yellowtail snapper, vermillion snapper, red grouper, gag grouper, and many other species. We offer 4 and 6 hour trips to accommodate the amount of time your group would like to be out on the water. It’s a heart-racing adrenaline rush to get that first fight out of a fish in the Gulf!
